Guerillas getting ready for terrorist attacks during Chechen president's inauguration

KHANKALA. Sept 13 (Interfax-AVN) - Law enforcement agencies have been informed that guerillas are preparing terrorist attacks in a number of Chechen regions on the eve of the new president's inauguration.

"Grozny, Shali, Argun, and Urus-Martan are among the most probable districts, which may be attacked by terrorists," an official of the Russian Interior Ministry temporary press-center in the North Caucasus told Interfax-Military News Agency on Monday.

He said that when sweeping the Urus-Martan and the Grozny districts, law enforcement officials had found a cache, storing the Shmel flame-thrower and ammunition.

In addition to that, the official said that terrorists had attacked one of the administrative buildings in the village of Pervomayskoe.

"They threw a grenade into a window, but fortunately no one was injured," he said.

According to the official, the terrorists responsible for the attack, are being search for.
