Beslan terrorist faces nine criminal charges

MOSCOW. Sept 14 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian Prosecutor General's Office has brought a total of nine charges, including banditry, terrorism, murder and abduction, against Nurpasha Kulayev in relation to the Beslan hostage crisis, Prosecutor General Vladimir Ustinov told Interfax-Military News Agency on Tuesday.

Kulayev, who was born in the village of Sayasats in Chechnya's Nozhai-Yurt district, was detained during the operation to free hostages from a school in Beslan which terrorists seized on September 1.
