MOSCOW. Sept 27 (Interfax-AVN) - Lukoil President Vagit Alekperov and Deputy Defense Minister Army General Vladimir Isakov signed an additional cooperation agreement in St. Petersburg on Monday, a Lukoil press release says.
The agreement says that Lukoil will continue cooperation with the ministry in material and technical provisions for soldiers.
Lukoil allocated about 10 million rubles ($342,350) under the first cooperation agreement signed a year ago.
The additional agreement stipulates cooperation in personnel training and the social security of soldiers, including their employment after retirement.
Lukoil representatives will give energy security lessons to students of the Rear and Transport Academy and the Ulyanovsk Military Technical School, which, in particular, trains fuel and lubricant specialists.
Lukoil and the ministry will continue cooperation in the provision of military units with fuel and lubricants. Last year, Lukoil supplied over one million tonnes of fuel and lubricants to the ministry.
