GROZNY. Oct 8 (Interfax-AVN) -- A militant was killed in a fight between federal forces and five militants in the village of Bugoroi in the Itum-Kale district. The militant was identified as a resident of the village of Dzhunsoi, a Chechen law enforcement source told Interfax on Friday.
The other militants escaped from the scene. An operation has been launched to detain them.
Five unidentified assailants opened fire on the Achkhoi-Martan district prosecutor's office on Thursday. No one was injured. The building was seriously damaged, the source said.
