Georgian General Staff chief to meet with NATO colleagues

TBILISI. Nov 9 (Interfax-AVN) - Georgia's chief of the General Staff Brigadier General Vakhtang Kapanadze will attend an annual meeting of NATO's chiefs of staff in Brussels for the first time this year.

"The meeting will take place on November 16. For the general, who was appointed Georgia's chief of the General Staff three months ago, it will be his first meeting with NATO colleagues," a source in the Georgian Defense Ministry told Interfax-Military News Agency.

While staying in Brussels, Kapanadze is planning to hold several bilateral meetings to inform his colleagues on progress in the Georgian army reform and adjustment to NATO standards.
