GROZNY. Nov 9 (Interfax-AVN) - The police have established the executor of the recent terrorist attack on law-enforcers in Grozny, in which several policemen received medium grave wounds, the Russian Interior Ministry's provisional press center in the North Caucasus reported on Tuesday.
"The policemen investigating activities of a previously detained man, born in 1982, have established that he was personally involved in the blast of two UAZ vehicles owned by the interior department of Grozny's Oktyabrsky district," a press center official told Interfax-Military News Agency.
The detainee's involvement in other crimes is still being investigated, he said.
According to the press center, policemen in Chechnya's Kurchaloi district found a hiding place with TNT, 30-mm shells, grenade launcher rounds, and a large number of small-arms cartridges, 2.5km north of the Niki-Khita village.
As many as 82 crimes were registered in Chechnya on Monday, and 64 of them were detected hot on the trail. Meanwhile, 982 administrative violations were exposed.
