TALLINN. Nov 10 (Interfax-AVN) - Estonian Defense Minister Margus Hanson has announced plans to tender his resignation after classified documents were stolen from him.
Hanson made this announcement at a Wednesday session of the board of the Reform Party, which holds the post of defense minister under a coalition agreement, the party's headquarters told Interfax.
The party's board approved Hanson's decision, but he will have to submit his letter of resignation to the country's prime minister.
New candidates for defense minister are expected to be discussed at the party's congress on November 21.
