MOSCOW. Nov 17 (Interfax-AVN) - In the past few years, the financing of the Armed Forces has grown significantly, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov told journalists on Wednesday.
He said that both the monetary allowance for personnel and financing for defense orders have increased. At the same time, Zhukov said that "there are still a lot of problems."
Zhukov also said that all the programs and plans approved by the government on the development of the Armed Forces are being fulfilled.
In response to a question about possible additional costs, Zhukov said that "there might be an issue with how to increase the social package for the servicemen for next year. The government has quite a few proposals on this issue."
