KYIV. Nov 17 (Interfax-AVN) - The Ukraine-NATO working plan for 2005 was signed during a top-level meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Military Committee at the alliance's headquarters in Brussels.
The participants in the meeting analyzed the course of the current Ukraine-NATO working plan and discussed the state and the possibilities for bilateral military cooperation, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry's press service said.
The Ukrainian delegation was led by Armed Forces Chief of Staff Serhiy Kyrychenko.
He also took part in the meeting of the Euro-Atlantic Partnership Military Committee which looked at a wide range of issues, including the current military political situation in Europe, in the Balkans, the Middle East and Afghanistan.
Other topics discussed at the meeting included the issues of new elements in NATO military politics in light of the Istanbul summit agreements, including the human trade sector, the development of the alliance's operative capability and the planning and carrying out of NATO training.
