Chile, Russia sign military technical cooperation deal

SANTIAGO. Nov 22 (Interfax-AVN) - Chile and Russia signed an agreement on military-technical cooperation in the presence of Presidents Ricardo Lagos and Vladimir Putin in Santiago.

On the Russian side, the agreement was signed by chief of the Federal Military Technical Cooperation Service Mikhail Dmitriyev, an Interfax correspondent reported from Santiago.

The two countries also signed an intergovernmental agreement on cooperation in peaceful space exploration. Chief of the Russian Federal Space Agency Anatoly Perminov signed the document on behalf of Russia.
