Rosatom to recycle 15 nuclear submarines in 2005

MOSCOW. Nov 23 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia's Federal Atomic Energy Agency (Rosatom) is planning to recycle 15 nuclear submarines in 2005 with funds from the state budget and foreign donors, a Rosatom official told Interfax.

"Foreign partners are expected to provide a sum equivalent to 3 billion rubles ($105.21 million) to implement this project in 2005," the official said. In 2004, foreign investment in the program to recycle Russian nuclear submarines will to amount to 2.5 billion rubles ($87.68 million), he said.
