Bomber maneuvers held in Volga region, Far East

MOSCOW. Nov 25 (Interfax-AVN) - TU-160 Blackjack and TU-95MS bear strategic bombers took part in military exercises in the Volga region and the Far East, Russian Air Force spokesman Colonel Alexander Drobyshevsky told Interfax-Military News Agency on Thursday.

The exercises, involving long-range aircraft deployed at the Engels airbase in the Saratov region and the Ukrainka airbase in the Far East, ended on Thursday morning, Drobyshevsky said. "They involved more than 20 TU-160 and TU-95 planes," he said.
