MOSCOW. Dec 3 (Interfax-AVN) - Sappers of the Russian Emergencies Ministry defused about 2,500 explosive devices in various Russian regions, Viktor Beltsov, public relations advisor to the emergencies minister, said on Friday.
"In November, sappers of the Russian Emergencies Ministry defused 2,470 explosive devices, including 29 air bombs in various regions," Beltsov told Interfax-Military News Agency.
Over 3,000 experts of the ministry and over 900 vehicles were involved in coping with consequences of emergency situations on Russian motorways in November, he added.
