Russia, India sign space cooperation agreements

NEW DELHI. Dec 3 (Interfax-AVN) - Russia and India signed several space cooperation agreements following Friday talks between President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in New Delhi.

An intergovernmental agreement was signed in their presence on cooperation in the peaceful exploration and use of space.

Government officials also signed an agreement on long-term cooperation in joint development of Russia's GLONASS global navigation system for peaceful purposes. Federal Space Agency head Anatoly Perminov signed both documents for Russia.
