TBILISI. Dec 6 (Interfax-AVN) - The Abkhaz Armed Forces are to start a scheduled week-long operational mobilization exercise on December 13, Major General Anatoly Zaitsev, Abkhaz Deputy Defense Minister, told Interfax-Military News Agency on Monday.
"Despite the complicated domestic political environment, the Armed Forces adhere to the plan, while their combat readiness is maintained at a due level," he said.
According to Zaitsev, the operational mobilization exercise will involve commanding officers and will be devoted to the winter combat training to start on January 3.
"The exercise will involve commanding officers from across Abkhazia," he said.
