MOSCOW. Dec 6 (Interfax-AVN) - The military-historical conference on development prospects of air defense systems is to be held in Moscow on Wednesday.
"The conference is to discuss future development of the Russian air defense systems, as well as other issues," Colonel Alexander Drobyshevsky, head of the Air Force press-service, told Interfax-Military News Agency on Monday.
He said that the conference "Air Defense: History and the Present" was timed to the 90th anniversary of the Russian Air Defense, celebrated on December 8.
The conference will see participation of Army General Vladimir Mikhailov, Air Force Commander-in-Chief, Colonel General Boris Cheltsov, Air Force Chief of Staff, officials of the Defense Ministry, the defense industry, and veterans, Drobyshevsky said.
