FSB, FBI directors to discuss anti-terrorist fight in Moscow

MOSCOW. Dec 6 (Interfax-AVN) - Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) Director Nikolai Patrushev and U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Robert Mueller will discuss cooperation in the anti-terrorist fight.

"Federal Security Service Director Nikolai Patrushev will meet with Federal Bureau of Investigation Director Robert Mueller at the Russian Federal Security Service to discuss cooperation between the secret services, primarily in the anti-terrorist fight," the Federal Security Service's Public Relations Department reported on Monday.

A department press release received by Interfax says Patrushev and Mueller "will define the most promising areas for bilateral contacts."

"The meeting will end in signing of a memorandum on cooperation between the Russian Federal Security Service and the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation, which will give a fresh impetus to bilateral cooperation and speed up joint anti-terrorist actions," the press release runs.
