MOSCOW. Dec 21 (Interfax-AVN) - A methodical training session involving the Airborne Force top brass started at an airborne unit in the Moscow military district on Tuesday.

"The training session involves officers of the Airborne Force command and commanders of airborne units," Colonel Nikolai Bragin, chief of the Airborne Force press service, told Interfax-Military News Agency.

Lieutenant General Nikolai Staskov, Airborne Force chief-of-staff, is in charge of the training session. Its main objective is to work out common views on arranging troop training in the new period of instruction, Bragin said.

The event will last until Friday and feature theoretical and demonstrative exercises in classes and barracks, at a motor pool, shooting range and training ground, he noted.
