TBILISI. Jan11 (Interfax-AVN) - The representatives of the Russian North Caucasus Regional Border Guard Directorate of the Federal Security Service and the Georgian Interior Ministry's Border Guard Department will meet in Kazberegi in January to discuss cooperation in 2005.
"We will work out a plan of interaction in 2005, similar with the one of 2004 that was fulfilled by over 90 percent, which played a positive part in ensuring the effectiveness of border protection," Colonel Kornely Salia, the Chief of Staff of the Georgian Border Guard Department, told Interfax-Military News Agency.
He added that the interaction includes the liaison of outposts and border guard task forces and reconnaissance.
He added that the meeting was scheduled for December, but was adjourned for some technical reasons.
