Launch of resupply spacecraft to ISS set for Feb 28

BAIKONUR. Jan 24 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - A Progress M-52 resupply spacecraft will be launched from Baikonur cosmodrome to the International Space Station (ISS) on February 28, Interfax was told by the Federal Space Agency on Monday.

"Progress was delivered from Korolyov near Moscow to Baikonur by rail on the morning of January 24," a spokesman said.

"Pre-launch preparations will begin at the cosmodrome soon after the arrival of a team of experts from Energia space corporation," he said.

This year, five launches are to be conducted from Baikonur under Russia's program of manned space flights.
