VORONEZH. Dec 28 (Interfax) - Two districts in Russia's Kursk region have been attacked from the Ukrainian side, governor Roman Starovoit said.
Three Kursk villages came under the Ukrainian army's attack, he said.
"Today, the villages of Gordeyevka and Uspenovka in the Korenevo district were shelled from the Ukrainian side. None of the residents were injured. Five households in Uspenovka and two in Gordeyevka were damaged," Starovoit said on Telegram on Thursday.
Tyotkino in the Glushkovo district also came under fire, he said.
"Six hits were recorded there. Windows, fences and roofing of two households were damaged. Due to damage to the electric transmission line, part of the community is without power," Starovoit said.
Emergency teams will start repairing the damage as soon as it is safe to do so, he said.
